A contractor for the replacement of water mains in three North Cork villages has been confirmed. The contract was awarded to Cork-based Sorensons Engineering with Lombardstown, Glantane and Laharn to receive the new water mains after it was deemed to be more cost effective to replace the 4km piping in the areas rather than continue to incur expenditure in repairs.
