Unique 'Farm' project gets the green light in Grenagh

A multifunctional building containing a restaurant, classrooms, office space, play area and a craft shop is to be developed in Grenagh after funding was allocated for a tourism and heritage attraction in the area.

'The Farm', which received almost €200,000 from the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, is being developed under the ’Diversification’ measure of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013.

The venture is unique to Cork North Central and could be rolled out nationally if other suitable ventures are found.
