Take Tony's belly busting challenge

The US TV show 'Man Versus Food' sees host Adam Richman travel the US, competing in America’s most compelling eating challenges, but one Cork restaurant has created a belly-busting food challenge of its very own: Ireland's biggest breakfast! The Godfather, available exclusively at Tony's Bistro, 69 North Main St., is a €29.95 spread of Full Irish delicacies available free of charge to those who can finish every last bite.

Charity fundraiser Eric Donovan from Ballyvolane completed the challenge last weekend, raising over €1,200 for the Cope Foundation in the process. The father of four, who finished the epic meal in a record two hours and forty five minutes, tackled the eggs first before devouring each component one by one. "I have no intention of ever doing it again," he said.
