Spend an evening with Mary Motorhead

History is invention… that's the premise behind an upcoming play at the Cork Arts Theatre. Starring Cora Fenton, Mary Motorhead tells the tale of a woman who is doing six years in prison for stabbing her husband in the head with a knife. As she lies on her bed reading, and scenes of the outdoor world are seen from the window of a car projected onto the wall behind her, Motorhead explains that everyone has a known history and a secret one. She invites the audience into her secret history, detailing how she came to this point in her life.
