A new agricultural business partnership between The Farm Store in Cork and Rhyno Mills in Kerry is diversifying the product range available to Munster farmers, and creating new employment opportunities in the sector.

The Rhyno Farm Store Ltd partnership has evolved out of a steady growth in cooperation between the firms in recent years, with Castleisland-based Rhyno Mills selling their animal feed to The Farm Store outlets in Bandon and Belgooly.

In a formal partnership combining 120 years of agriculture sector experience, the businesses have pooled their assets, unique skills and loyal customer bases, with Rhyno stocking the agricultural products, and The Farm Store providing a high standard of technical knowledge and expertise

With one new employee at the Rhyno Farm Store in Castleisland, expectations are high of further job opportunities, due to what Farm Store managing director Hugh Sisk described as “a huge drive” to discover “new products and better quality products that will meet the needs of the modern farmer”.
