Open night for artists in North Cork

The next meeting of the proposed Umbrella Group of Artists and Craft workers from North Cork is scheduled for Monday night, May 28th at the Avondhu Blackwater Partnership offices in Fermoy at 7.30pm. All interested parties are being invited to further develop idead and structures of a possible craft umbrella group to represent the different artistic strands in the region.

Rural Development funding aimed at community enhancement is available and the umbrella group that emerges from the consultation process could be eligible to make an application for equipment etc through the LEADER proramme.
