Nominations open for Blas na hEireann awards

Organisers are now accepting nominations for the fifth annual Blas na hEireann, Irish Food Awards, the recognised benchmark for the best quality Irish food products. The competition is open to all producers on the island of Ireland, be they large, medium or small. As in previous years, all produce entered into the Awards must be commercially available in at least three outlets (including farmers markets) and be made by businesses registered on the island, using Irish ingredients wherever possible.
