Make your own movie at the Half Moon

The Half Moon Theatre will be exploding with creativity this July and all they ask it that you join in! You’ll Like This Film Because You’re In It is a pop-up, do-it-yourself film studio that accommodates all ages. Inside, you can write, shoot and screen your own movie from Tuesday July 10th to Saturday 14th at 10am and 2pm.

The camera, sets and costumes will all be supplied by the Hammergrin Theatre Company, allowing you to simply supply the innovation and imagination. All ages are welcome to get involved in the participatory filmmaking event, based on Michel Gondry’s Be Kind Rewind Protocol.

Not only will you be in charge of shouting those all-important words: lights, camera, action; but the film that you create will also be shown on the big screen. Booking and information is available at www.corkoperahouse.ie and by calling 021 4270022.
