Hot on the heels of their stunning performance at Indiependence Music Festival, Dublin indie rockers Kodaline are returning to Cork this weekend. The four-piece will play Fred Zeppelins tomorrow night, Saturday from 9pm, with support at the free gig from Emerson. The group, who release their debut EP in September was originally called 21 Demands, who shot to fame on RTÉ’s You’re A Star and became the first unsigned band to reach number one based on downloads sales alone, with their single Give Me A Minute. Fast-forward five years, (and a new member) the renamed Kodaline has recently signed to Sony Music through RCA Records and have garnered support from the likes of Julian Lennon, the son of the Beatles’ legend.
