International flair to film festival

Branded as a festival for filmmakers, the Dare Media Underground Short Film event will kick off in August with a range of movies from across the globe and in a variety of genres, including drama, comedy, documentary, sci-fi/horror and music video/artistic.

The event takes place from Friday, August 10th to Saturday, August 18th, and will be run in the Triskel Arts Centre; Cork Vision Centre at St Paul’s; Camden Palace; Chambers Bar; The Pavilion; and City Limits Comedy Club.

To help filmmakers, each Underground entry will receive a detailed evaluation and analysis from the panel of expert judges.
