Firkin Crane plan Moriarty tribute

The Firkin Crane is preparing to host a major exhibition to celebrate the Centenary of renowned ballet teacher and promoter Joan Denise Moriarty. The exhibition will shine a light on this unique building, which owes its very existence to Moriarty's vision and energy and will also feature newly discovered archive material thoughtfully presented by the staff at Firkin Crane in association with Cork School of Dance.

A programme of performances, demonstrations, workshops and classes will provide another dimension to Firkin Crane’s tribute to Joan Denise Moriarty. With the official opening on Thursday, March 22nd, the Joan Denise Moriarty Centenary Exhibition will run until the end of 2012.
