Cork company Do Business Smarter, which lives up to its name by providing expertise in marketing and growth for small and micro business owners and managers, will share the seven secrets of marketing at an engaged hosted by Cork & Harbour Chamber next Wednesday, June 27th.

Do Business Smarter’s founders and partners, Donal McCarthy and Denis Ahern, provide seminars and strategy training sessions, and work with clients on a one-to-one basis and on-line, on a range of subjects, including marketing, sales, cash-flow, employee issues and systemisation.

“We’re not a one-size fits all approach—we deliver our service in a variety of formats, depending on what best suits the client’s needs,” Donal McCarthy said.

Next week’s seminar is aimed at encouraging business owners to focus on precise targeting of their market and creating a message to reach it; vital, at a time when up to 80% of businesses that fail do so due to running out of money, or due to energy-sapping expenditure on trial and error marketing.

“If a business owner spends money on marketing it is to get a return on investment, and that is why it’s vital that they know the answers to key questions about their target market, and the reasons why there is a demand for their product or service,” Donal explained.
