The new Mini Clubvan, which debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, is billed as the world’s first premium compact commercial van, and the ideal option for any business with an eye for style.
The first new Mini to be classed as a commercial vehicle, the Clubvan is inspired by the 1960s Morris Mini Van, and offers outstanding levels of practicality and storage with a cargo area that is 1.15m long and 1.02m at its narrowest point.
With its blocked out body-coloured rear side windows featuring interior polycarbonate reinforcement, and tinted glass in the back doors, the load compartment is both secured and concealed from prying eyes.
Available in three models, with frugal four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, the Clubvan is aimed at caterers, event planners, small retail businesses or photographers, but its security and versatility will also make it attractive to drivers with adventure hobbies such as cycling and mountaineering.
Pricing for the Clubvan starts from €17,140, with the model coming to the market later in 2012.
