Cork stylist joins the Olympic pampering team

Cork hair stylist John Geaney is one of 37 carefully selected Wella Professionals experts from around the world who have been chosen to work with athletes and their families throughout the Olympic Games period. As part of a P&G 'Thank You Mum' complimentary beauty service that includes haircuts, colouring and treatments, make-up treatments and patriotic nail art from top Max Factor professionals, all London 2012 Olympians and their mums will be eligible for free makeovers and pampering sessions.

John told us, “It is an absolute honour to be chosen to work with Olympians and their families during the London 2012 Olympic Games. I’ve watched the Olympic Games since I was a child and I am thrilled to be a part of this historic event. My Mum has always been hugely supportive and encouraging to me and I couldn’t be more excited or proud to be here as part of the team thanking the women who helped these athletes to become the best in the world.”
