The Cork senior hurling team facing Wexford this Saturday in phase three of the All Ireland qualifiers will be slightly changed from the starting 15 that defeated Offaly last weekend.
Damien Cahalane will make his All Ireland championship debut at full back, while dual star Eoin Cadogan is back on the team following his part in the Cork senior footballers’ victory in the Munster final last Sunday.
Having come on as a sub against Offaly, Niall McCarthy makes his return to Jimmy Barry-Murphy’s starting line-up, while Pat Cronin and Lorcán McLoughlin are at midfield, and Luke O’Farrell comes in at full forward.
Substitutes named for the match are Conor Sullivan, William Egan and Darren Sweetnam.
CIE are offering a special €9.99 each way adult train fare to Thurles this Saturday from Cork, Mallow or Charleville, with a half-fare for children under-16. Visit www.irishrail.ie for further information.
