The new Audi Q5 will hit Irish roads this autumn, with a slightly reduced entry price of €40,395 for the 2.0l TDI 143 version.
With an updated, more efficient engine range, start-stop technology, electromechanical steering and suspension, the new Q5 improves on an already formidable package.
New options include Audi’s MMI Navigation Plus, complete with in-car online services such as Google Earth and Street View, traffic information and internet radio.
The much admired styling of the chassis has been subtly refreshed, retaining its coupe-like roof-line and wrap-around tailgate, while revisions to the interior ensure that the car retains its understated refined feel.
Since its 2008 Irish launch, the Q5 has been a popular choice for families and fleet customers, and is the best-selling SUV in its class worldwide, with global deliveries for 2011 totalling 176,000.
The new S Q5 TDI, Audi’s first diesel-powered S model, is set for an Irish launch in early 2013, priced from €72,700.
