All about Losers

Two of the newest names on the Irish music scene will be travelling Leeside next week. Both We Are Losers and Girl Band will play at Plugd Records in the Triskel Christchurch in a joint collaboration between the store and music blogger, The Point of Everything.

Kicking off tomorrow, Saturday at 8.30pm, Dublin band We Are Losers will headline, with an energetic and unpredictable live set, fine- tuned after tours in Leinster with Runaround Kids following the launch of their spilt EP. Meanwhile Girl Band's formula is simple; play loud and play hard as the young four-piece perform hits such as In Our Heads, and a cover of the Chemical Brothers' Hanna. Admission is €6, with tickets available from Plugd Records.
