More than two hundred fewer people waited on trolleys in Cork hospitals this month compared with the same period last year. Figures released yesterday evening (Thursday) show that Emergency Departments (ED) at Cork University Hospital (CUH) and the Mercy Hospital from Tuesday, January 3rd to Wednesday, January 25th had 235 fewer people waiting on trolleys between the two hospitals.
